In light of the 2012 season for the fun and exciting 48 Hour Film Festival coming around, I wanted to put one of our teams past film back on display. This film is from Cleveland’s 2011 Challenge where, at least I think, we could have probably won some nice awards for. Unfortunately, being 5 minutes late prohibited that. But it always next year right! lol

More About What we Had To Accomplish For The 48Hr Project Here

This past weekend was a fun, grueling and intense weekend in which our Gennextent Team was apart of the 48 Hour Film Project. What is the 48 Hour Film Project you ask? The 48 Hour Film Project is a wild and sleepless weekend in which you and a team make a movie—write, shoot, edit and score it—in just 48 hours.

On Friday night, you get a character, a prop, a line of dialogue and a genre, all to include in your movie. 48 hours later, the movie must be complete. Then it will show at a local theater, usually in the next week.

Just getting through the process of creating a film in two days is a huge challenge, and I commend all for getting it done!

Unfortunately our Film was turned in at 7:35pm…which was 5 minutes passed the deadline so our film is not eligible to Win any awards except for the Audience Choice Award. So that means the more of you that come out to support our film the greater our chances!!! :)

Film Synopsis - Dexter’s Drinking has finally caught up to him. Hopefully these past 48 Hours Will shed a new Light and help him turn things back around.
