Director Dezmond Peterson will be holding closed auditions for his 2014 short film “Trapped In The Elevator” set to shoot late August.



A story of a man who’s lifelong dream of being Partner at his law firm is suddenly stripped away by a woman he despises, and who despises him. After being trapped in an elevator for hours they discover the secret of their hate.



This 2014 short film “Trapped In The Elevator” is set to shoot August 30th – 31st in Atlanta, GA. and we will be holding closed auditions on August 2nd. Interested talent & crew should email today and submit your profile images, resume and role you are submitting for to be considered for auditions.



No pay, but film credit, and meals will be provided. All cast and crew will receive a copy of the finished film once it has gone though the festival cycle for a potential Award Winning Season!



Seeking submissions local to the Atlanta, GA area. Auditions are set for August 2nd at Studio 816b and by APPOINTMENT ONLY! Be prepared to do a cold read from the script.



Josh: African American. Age 8-10

Josh as a little kid. He has a crush on Brandy and wants to be a lawyer one day.


Brandy: African American. Age 8-10

Brandy as a kid. She likes that Josh has a crush on her. She is very playful of him.


Josh: African American. Age 25-35

Josh is an attorney. He is a very strong-minded person hard to get along with. Becoming partner at the firm is the most important thing to him.


Brandy: African American. Age 25-35

Brandy is also an attorney competing to make Partner at the law firm.  She is strong, independent, and successful. She secretly desires someone to share her success with.


Tonya: African American. Age 25-30

Tonya is the fiancé of Josh. She is a realtor on the verge of starting her own company. She loves a strong powerful man.


Lily: Any Ethnicity. Age 20-25

Lily is Brandy’s assistant. She is a young law school student with ambitions of becoming a lawyer. She not only respects Brandy as a lawyer, but they are very good friends.


Heather: Any Ethnicity. Age 30-50

Brandy’s client.


Ricardo Anthony: African American.  Age 30-40

On trial for murder. Thuggish type with a lot of anger.


Judge: Any Ethnicity. Age 40-50

Judge assigned to the Ricardo Anthony Trial.


Lawyer: Caucasian. Age 30-40
